Launching a new school for the young people of Central Delaware is no small task. Over the last 2 years, there has been an inspirational outpouring of time, talent, and treasure to get us to this point. As with any endeavor such as this, our work is never complete.
The Campaign for Holy Cross High School aims to raise an initial investment of $6 million as follows:
$2 million for the operational fund. These monies will provide the needed, up-front capital to equip the school, while also supplementing the budget during the initial years until tuition dollars from increasing enrollment can sustain the annual budget.
$4 million for the endowment fund. This fund will provide a perpetual source of financial aid for families in need to attend HCHS. Our endowment fund is managed by the highly respected Delware Community Foundation.
Phase 2 of the campaign seeks to raise $8 million for the development of a full campus.
We are currently in discussion regarding several properties within the Dover area to develop a full, 30-50 acre campus for the school.
